Research your family history using two Chester County Library System databases, Ancestry.com and HeritageQuest.

Accessible from any Chester County Library System library, Ancestry.com has more than five billion names in over 4,000 databases. It contains census, birth, marriage, death, immigration/ emigration, naturalization, court, land and probate records, and much more. Access charts, forms, public family trees, and communicate with other genealogists on message boards. Ancestry.com is an “in library use only” database only.

HeritageQuest, a product of Ancestry.com, contains U.S. census records, city directories, wills, military, immigration, war and death records, and more. View digitized and searchable books for local place and family histories. HeritageQuest can be accessed remotely from your home, work, or anywhere you access the internet. Visit www.ccls.org, click on Databases, and log in with your library card number.
